I'm born 1948 in Lucerne, Switzerland and grew up in a medium sized family.  I was often called the 'technical genius' who can repair everything. That encouragement drove me to excel and set the cornerstone for becoming an 'all-rounder'.

After graduating from high school I studied Electro Engineering in Zurich. But after two years of study I changed my mind and switched to the University of Zurich to study Psychology and Education (Pedagogy - a rather rare word in the English language). Finally I combined the technical skills and educational aspect of my education and became a teacher for Mathematics and Natural Science.

In 1974 I fell in love with Susi and two years later got hitched. We enjoyed four lovely children that are all grown up by now.

A big change happened in 1986 when we said bye to the Swiss mountains and Chocolate immigrating to the hot flats of Florida also called the Sunshine State. Here we went for two reasons. One is my old passion for flying, the other one is Scientology that maintains one of it's headquarters and training centers here in Clearwater, Florida.

Today I'm a pilot and own two aviation businesses. Beside the daily routine work I like to fly and explore other countries. Well, I might not quite reach the stars by doing that...but flying is an exciting experience.
